Producţii din Italia, Japonia şi Spania se numără între cele 15 titluri alese de Academia americană de film pe lista scurtă pentru nominalizare la categoria „lungmetraj internaţional” a premiilor Oscar 2022, în timp ce pentru „coloană sonoră” au fost aleşi între alţii Jonny Greenwood şi Hans Zimmer, iar Beyoncé, U2 şi Van Morrison intră în cursa pentru „cântec original”.
Academia americană de film (AMPAS) a anunţat marţi listele scurte pentru 10 categorii ale premiilor Oscar.
Votul pentru acestea s-a încheiat pe 15 decembrie, iar cele selectate în primă fază vor trece acum în etapa oficială de vot.
Nouăzeci şi trei de ţări şi-au înscris producţii pentru a fi luate în considerare la categoria „lungmetraj internaţional” a celei de-a 94-a ediţii a galei premiilor Academiei Americane de Film. Un lungmetraj internaţional este definit ca film cu o durată de peste 40 de minute, produs în afara Statelor Unite, cu dialog predominant - peste 50% - în altă limbă decât engleza. ”Babardeală cu bucluc sau porno balamuc”, de Radu Jude, marele câştigător al Berlinalei de anul acesta, a fost propunerea României pentru nominalizare.
Finaliştii vor fi anunţaţi pe 8 februarie 2022, odată cu celelalte nominalizări la Oscar.
Cea de-a 94-a ediţie a galei premiilor Oscar va avea loc pe 27 martie 2022, la Dolby Theatre din Hollywood, şi va fi transmisă în direct de ABC în mai mult de 200 de teritorii.
